Brod & Taylor Voluntary Sahara Folding Dehydrator Air Filter Recall
The safety and satisfaction of our customers is Brod & Taylor's top priority. In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, we are voluntarily recalling and replacing the air filters in a limited number of Sahara dehydrators. In the event of a failure of the internal fan, the dehydrator may overheat, possibly igniting the air filter resulting in fire.
The affected units may be identified by product code and serial number.
Production Code: CCAE Serial #'s: 12139055-12140194
If there is a C1 sticker (red circle, white text) present, the unit has been repaired and is not subject to this recall.
To find the production code and serial number, look on the back of your Sahara.

If you have a dehydrator that is subject to this recall, you should remove the polyester air filter immediately. You may continue to use the dehydrator without any air filter installed. To get your replacement stainless steel air filter, contact Brod & Taylor by filling out the following form:
